Security Firm stands up for the vulnerable
The national and foregin press recently highlighted Hocroft's work in helping protect vulnerable people on the street. Hocroft was receiving up to 30 calls a day from parents and women over fears that they could be attacked on the street.
Worried parents are hiring security guards to escort their children home from school. The guards meet children from the school bus and ensure they reach their homes safely.
Hocroft Trading and Security already offered a 'Meet and Greet' service to women who felt vulnerable returning home alone and have extended it to include their children.
Abi Mohamed, head of the security firm, believed a spate of robberies in Hampstead had increased the fear of crime, with women targeted as they let themselves into their homes. See more reports above: 'In the Media'
